Education Board Result 2026: What Is Out and What Comes Next

Two education board results matter in 2026. The SSC and equivalent result came out on Monday, August 10, 2026, and the HSC and equivalent result is due on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with the launch at 11:00 am.

HSC and equivalent result 2026

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee first announced October 29, then moved the HSC result to Saturday, October 31, so the boards could check the results once more before release. The results will be launched at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha, Dhaka, at 11:00 am, and will go online and to institutions at the same time.

This year’s HSC and equivalent exams began on July 2, and 1,270,583 candidates took part, regular and irregular. Some Chattogram board exams were postponed because of natural disasters and held later. Board-wise results, pass rates and GPA-5 numbers will be added to our HSC Result 2026 guide after the official release.

SSC and equivalent result 2026

The SSC and equivalent result was published on Monday, August 10, 2026. Across all 11 boards the pass rate was 62.25%, down from 68.45% in 2025, and 116,676 students got GPA-5, against 139,032 a year earlier. In the nine general boards alone, the pass rate was 64.05% and 106,009 students got GPA-5.

In all, 1,857,344 candidates sat the 2026 SSC and equivalent exams. 669 institutions had a 100% pass rate (984 in 2025) and at 312 institutions no candidate passed (134 in 2025). The full breakdown is in our SSC Result 2026 guide.

Results are published on educationboardresults.gov.bd and on eduboardresults.gov.bd, the education boards’ common website. Each board’s own website also carries results and notices. Type the address yourself and check it before you enter a roll number.

Look-alike addresses exist, such as .com websites that put “gov.bd” inside their name. They are not official. The official result form asks only for the exam, year, board, roll and registration numbers and a small sum; it never needs your phone number or an app.

How to Check Your Result on educationboardresults.gov.bd

Open educationboardresults.gov.bd, choose the examination, year and board, enter your roll and registration numbers, answer the small sum and press Submit. Save the result page as a PDF or a screenshot.

  1. Open educationboardresults.gov.bd in your browser.
  2. In Examination, choose SSC/Dakhil for secondary results or HSC/Alim for higher secondary results.
  3. In Year, choose the year you sat the exam, for example 2026.
  4. In Board, choose your education board.
  5. Type your Roll and Registration numbers exactly as they appear on your admit card and registration card.
  6. Answer the security sum shown on the form, for example 3 + 5 = 8.
  7. Press Submit. Your result opens on the screen.

To keep a copy, open your browser menu, choose Print and then Save as PDF, or take a screenshot. In the first hour after a launch, many people try at once. If the page does not load, wait a few minutes and try again, open eduboardresults.gov.bd instead, or use SMS.

Education Board Result by SMS (16140)

Type the exam name, your board’s three-letter code, your roll number and the year, with one space between each, then send it to 16140. Example: HSC DHA 123456 2026, sent to 16140.

Institution Result with EIIN

Schools, colleges and madrasahs download their full result sheet from the Results section of educationboardresults.gov.bd or eduboardresults.gov.bd by choosing their board and entering their EIIN, the institution's identification number.

  2. Go to the Results section and choose your board.
  3. Enter your institution's EIIN and download the result sheet.

Each board's own website also has a Results Corner that takes the EIIN. Students can collect their results from their own institution as soon as they are published.

Marksheet: What the Online Result Gives You

The online result works as your provisional marksheet: it gives your GPA and your subject results under the grading scale below. Save or print it for admission forms; your institution gives you the official documents later.

Number-wise marks are a separate question. eboardresults.com describes itself as showing detailed marks only where they are available, so not every student will see marks. Be careful with any website that promises a "marksheet with number" for everyone.

Education Board Grading System

Board results use a 5-point scale: 80 to 100 marks is A+ (5.00), 70 to 79 is A (4.00), 60 to 69 is A- (3.50), 50 to 59 is B (3.00), 40 to 49 is C (2.00), 33 to 39 is D (1.00) and below 33 is F.

GPA-5 means a GPA of 5.00, the highest possible. A subject below 33 marks is an F.

Re-scrutiny (Board Challenge)

If you think a paper was marked wrongly, you can apply to have your answer script re-evaluated. For HSC 2026, applications are taken online from November 1 to November 7, 2026, and the education boards will publish the method on their websites.

Re-scrutiny is not a new exam; it re-checks the script you already wrote. Apply only within the dates and keep your confirmation. The fee and exact steps for 2026 will be in the boards' notice, so do not rely on last year's figures.

Is this the official education board result website?

No. This is an independent guide. Results are published only on the official websites listed above, by SMS and through institutions.

Can I check my result without the registration number?

The online form asks for it. SMS needs only your roll number and year, and your institution has your registration details.

Can I get my result from the board office or a newspaper?

No. The boards have said results are not given out by the Ministry of Education, the education boards or newspaper offices. Use the websites, SMS or your institution.

Where can I find previous years' results?

Choose the year in the official result form. eboardresults.com also describes itself as an archive of SSC, HSC, Dakhil, Alim, JSC, JDC and vocational results.

My exam's SMS format is not listed. What should I do?

Follow your own board's notice. The 2026 announcements gave formats only for the general boards, Dakhil and SSC vocational.
